Position Overview
This Forward Deployed AI Scientist role sits within BCG X’s rapidly growing tech and analytics team in Dubai, owning the full analytics value chain end to end — from framing new business challenges and designing innovative algorithms to implementing and deploying scalable AI solutions. You will apply data science methods to real-world business situations across a variety of industries, partner with clients across BCG regions on key topics including climate change, deliver thought leadership through scientific papers and conferences, and help organizations fully embrace AI-led transformation as intellectually curious, action-biased builders.

Key Responsibilities
Full Analytics Value Chain Ownership
- Own the full analytics value chain end to end — from framing new business challenges to deploying scalable AI solutions
- Design innovative algorithms that address real-world client business problems across industries
- Implement and deploy production-grade AI solutions that generate measurable business impact
- Enable colleagues and clients to fully embrace AI through hands-on support and training
Client-Facing AI & Data Science Delivery
- Partner with clients across BCG regions and industries to design, build, and deploy innovative AI solutions
- Apply data science methods and analytics to a wide variety of real-world business situations
- Lead teams and client engagements with confidence, ambition, and commercial awareness
- Work on key global topics including climate change, digital transformation, and competitive strategy
Insight Communication & Visualization
- Distill complex results and processes into simple, clear, and compelling visualizations
- Explain sophisticated data science and machine learning concepts in an accessible and understandable manner
- Synthesize complex data into strategic insights that drive executive-level decision-making
- Translate deep ML technical knowledge into clear business implications for client stakeholders
Thought Leadership & Community Contribution
- Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities through papers and publications
- Lead conferences and industry events on behalf of BCG X

- Build and share reusable frameworks, methodologies, and AI best practices across the firm
Collaborative AI Product Development
- Work collaboratively on code using modern development tools with engineering and DevOps teams
