Position Overview
This Graduate Electrical Engineer role is an entry point into Fugro’s global survey engineering operations. You will liaise daily with the Survey Engineering Manager, assist Base Engineers with assigned tasks, support project mobilization preparations, maintain survey equipment used both onshore and offshore, conduct Vessel Visit maintenance for the Positioning Boat Programme, and maintain Equipment Failure Service Reports, Calibration Tracking reports, and monthly Equipment Repair reports.

Key Responsibilities
Survey Engineering Support
- Liaise daily with the Survey Engineering Manager regarding ongoing operational requirements
- Assist Base Engineers with the execution of given work and tasks
- Assist with project mobilization preparations
- Assist engineers on offshore surveys in the field if the opportunity arises
Equipment Maintenance & Calibration
- Maintain all survey equipment used on and offshore
- Conduct Vessel Visit maintenance of the Positioning Boat Programme for all equipment
- Maintain the Equipment Failure Service Report archive and Calibration Tracking report
- Maintain monthly Equipment Repair reports and Equipment Test/Maintenance reports
Basic Engineering Support
- Assist with basic engineering requirements across survey projects
- Apply 2D CAD skills to support documentation and equipment planning
- Support a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment with flexibility
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Electrical Engineering graduate with 0–2 years of experience
Eligibility Requirements
- Emirati national with a Family Book
Essential Skills
- Knowledge in 2D CAD is a must
- Computer literate, including a basic understanding of networking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Flexible to work varied hours, travel, and work offshore when required
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable in a dynamic work environment
