Position Overview

The HR Specialist role based in Dubai is accountable for implementing effective people strategies through close coordination with employees, line managers, and key stakeholders across a multi-country regional footprint. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to all employees on HR functional areas including administration, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Cover the full onboarding and offboarding cycle, ensuring a smooth and compliant employee lifecycle experience
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations in line with regional labor law

Compliance, Policies & Documentation

  • Tackle HR-related matters and tasks in full compliance with applicable labor law across all supported countries
  • Update and monitor HR policies, SOPs, procedures, related forms, job descriptions, and organizational charts for all departments
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements, local labor laws, and HR best practices to reduce legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance

Performance, Engagement & Employee Relations

  • Assist in implementing the yearly performance appraisal process, ensuring fairness and transparency throughout
  • Attend to employee relations matters, addressing performance concerns and escalating issues to the direct manager when needed
  • Conduct exit interviews, identifying trends and recommending remedial actions in coordination with the HRM
  • Ensure probation meetings are conducted on schedule and all related forms are completed in a timely manner

Regional Visa, PRO & Systems Coordination

  • Manage GCC visa portals hands-on and coordinate closely with PROs and local authorities across multiple countries
  • Maintain and update the HR database, employee records, and files while monitoring schedules, attendance, and leave
  • Support the implementation of myMidis HR modules across all departments within the regional operation
  • Update periodic HR dashboards, analyze KPIs and metrics, and recommend solutions in coordination with the HRM

Cross-Functional Partnership & HR Initiatives

  • Engage and coordinate closely with the Center of Excellence on projects related to employee and organizational needs
  • Partner with departments such as Finance, Legal, and IT to achieve shared organizational goals and objectives
  • Participate in evaluating and monitoring training programs, with close follow-up on mandatory trainings such as Code of Conduct, Cybersecurity, and IT
  • Coordinate the planning of HR initiatives and events focused on enhancing employee engagement and company culture

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or another closely related field

Experience Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in HR Operations is required for this role
  • Hands-on experience managing GCC visa portals and coordinating with PROs is mandatory — candidates without this experience will not be considered

Language & Regional Requirements

  • Fluency in Arabic is required to review employment contracts and communicate effectively with PROs and local authorities
  • This is a regional role supporting HR operations across Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, and Jordan — comfort with multi-country coordination is essential
