Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Incentive Computation
- Review contractual obligations and commitments for complex incentive contracts with financial institutions and clients — assessing the appropriate accounting treatment in line with Visa policy and US GAAP
- Build and maintain complex incentive contract computations within Visa’s incentive computation system — ensuring mathematical accuracy, completeness, and full alignment with contractual terms
- Prepare and review complex contractual payments in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of each incentive agreement — acting as both preparer and approver for incentive setups and adjustments
- Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders on complex deal structures and accounting treatment — clearly translating technical financial concepts into business language that non-finance audiences can act on
US GAAP, SOX Compliance & Financial Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with Visa’s accounting policy, US GAAP standards, and SOX internal controls across all incentive contract accounting, payment processing, and financial reporting activities
- Champion the creation and ongoing maintenance of high standards of financial discipline, accuracy, and accountability within the UAE and regional cluster finance function
- Own assigned financial reports and deliverables — ensuring timely, accurate accounting and reporting in line with Visa’s SEC reporting requirements and internal management information standards
- Monitor performance metrics for the Client Incentive Operations function and drive measurable efficiencies through automation, system improvements, and continuous business process optimisation
AI Integration & Process Improvement
- Incorporate artificial intelligence tools and technologies into finance processes and workflows — actively driving Visa’s ambition to embed AI-enhanced efficiency across its global finance operations
- Spearhead ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives designed to improve the overall performance, accuracy, and scalability of the Client Incentive Operations team and its processes
- Drive process improvement and streamlining projects — identifying automation opportunities, eliminating manual inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that enhance both speed and accuracy of financial operations
- Participate in and contribute to global streamlining and alignment projects as part of Visa’s broader cross-functional finance transformation agenda
Business Engagement & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner closely with Finance Business Partners across the cluster to provide technical financial analysis, contract insight, and strategic support to Sales and other key business stakeholders
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance Business Partners, Client Contract Management, Legal, and other internal teams as needed on contract structuring, deal review, and incentive strategy
- Effectively translate complex accounting treatments and detailed financial analyses into clear, stakeholder-friendly language — ensuring full understanding of contractual obligations and financial implications at all levels
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment — providing effective coaching, mentoring, and professional development guidance to more junior members of the Client Incentive Operations team
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from a recognised university
- Advanced finance qualification (CPA, CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a significant advantage for senior-level candidates applying to this role at Visa UAE
Experience Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive finance work experience — preferably with a multinational corporation (MNC) operating regional or global finance functions
- Proven, hands-on proficiency with financial software systems for efficient and accurate financial analysis, incentive computation, and management reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets — analysing and interpreting financial data accurately to support decision-making and compliance reporting
- Experience incorporating AI tools and technologies into finance processes — or a demonstrated interest and capability in driving AI-enabled efficiency improvements within a finance function
Technical & Compliance Knowledge
- Strong, working knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards and SOX internal control requirements as applied in a complex, multi-entity MNC finance environment
- Ability to review, assess, and administer complex incentive or commercial contracts — translating legal and financial terms into accurate accounting treatments and payment computations
- Experience with SEC reporting requirements and the financial discipline standards expected within a publicly listed global corporation of Visa’s scale and complexity
