Position Overview
The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across the organization. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and promoting a strong safety culture through training and awareness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment & Inspection
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Safety Culture & Training
- Promote a strong safety culture through training and awareness initiatives
Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with management and staff to continuously improve workplace safety and occupational health practices
 Qualifications & Requirements
Certification Requirements
- Relevant professional certification such as NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health, including risk assessment and incident investigation
- Familiarity with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry best practices
- Effective communication and training skills, engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
