Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company
Employee Support & Benefits Administration
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and broader workplace issues
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with annual open enrollment processes
- Handle FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and various leaves of absence in compliance with applicable regulations
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and broader employee development initiatives
- Handle employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and helping resolve workplace concerns fairly and professionally
Compliance, Reporting & HR Projects
- Maintain accurate employee records and comprehensive HR documentation in line with company and legal standards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all HR processes
- Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and data analysis as needed to support business decision-making
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of new HR policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required for this position
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role or closely related HR position
- HRIS system experience is preferred and will strengthen your application significantly
Essential Skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple HR responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when maintaining records and ensuring compliance accuracy
