Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to the client — maintaining a professional, courteous, and solutions-focused relationship that reflects RS Integrated Supply’s values and service standards at all times
- Act as the front-facing representative of RS Integrated Supply on the client’s site — embodying the company’s commitment to delivering brilliantly and making every day better for the client’s operational team
- Attend site meetings when required — participating constructively in discussions about store issues, operational challenges, and service improvements, and following up on agreed actions promptly
- Source and make available supplier catalogues and product reference material for the client — ensuring the client’s purchasing and engineering teams have access to the product information they need to make informed decisions
Stock Control & Inventory Management
- Issue stock products to the client accurately and efficiently — ensuring the right product is issued to the right person at the right time, with all transactions recorded correctly in the stock control system
- Accurately and efficiently record goods delivered into the stock control system — completing all goods receipt transactions within one working day of receipt, in line with RS Integrated Supply company standards
- Record stock locations for all new products required in store — maintaining an organised, well-documented stores layout that supports efficient product retrieval and accurate inventory records
- Record stock adjustments promptly and action them appropriately — investigating discrepancies, correcting records, and communicating any significant stock issues to supervisors in a timely manner
Purchase Order Management & Delivery Coordination
- Expedite all outstanding purchase orders in a timely manner — proactively following up with suppliers and internal procurement teams to ensure orders progress to delivery without unnecessary delays
- Release products on back order for delivery to the client — managing back-order queues actively and communicating expected delivery timelines to the client clearly and proactively
- Confirm customer deliveries in a timely manner — ensuring all delivery confirmations are completed accurately and shared with the client to maintain full operational visibility of incoming stock
- Ensure approved documentation is accurately completed and authorised where necessary — maintaining a full audit trail for all purchase, receipt, and delivery transactions in line with RS Integrated Supply documentation standards
Stores Standards & Operational Excellence
- Ensure the client’s stores are maintained to a consistently high standard — managing cleanliness, organisation, safety, and accessibility in the stores environment as a direct reflection of RS Integrated Supply’s quality commitment
- Complete stock deliveries in line with company standards — processing all incoming goods within one working day of receipt to maintain stock accuracy and operational responsiveness
- Carry out other duties consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the Inventory Coordinator role — demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative team mindset in supporting the broader integrated supply operation
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience & Background
- Experience in a stores, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain coordination role — ideally within an industrial, MRO, manufacturing, or integrated supply environment
- Proven ability to deliver excellent client experience and satisfaction in a fast-paced, service-oriented operational environment — with a track record of responsive, accurate, and professional service delivery
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment where responsive action is applied efficiently and effectively to meet client needs — comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously without losing accuracy
Technical Skills
- Good IT skills — proficiency in standard office applications and willingness to learn RS Integrated Supply’s digital inventory and stock control platforms
