This Inventory Management Specialist role centres on ensuring high inventory accuracy across an international production and logistics environment. You will monitor stock levels to secure material availability for production, clinical activities, and customer supply, analyse inventory and material flow indicators, control replenishment processes in coordination with production and supply chain teams, and help prevent obsolescence and material loss through careful expiration date monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Take responsibility for inventory management and ensure high inventory accuracy
- Monitor stock levels to ensure material availability for production, clinical activities, and customer supply
- Conduct inventories, reconcile stock levels, and process stock discrepancies
- Monitor expiration dates and prevent obsolescence and material loss
Analytics & Process Optimization
- Analyse inventory and material flow indicators across the supply chain
- Derive and implement optimization measures based on data insights
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain and inventory management
- Ensure data quality across ERP systems for accurate reporting
Replenishment & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Control replenishment processes and coordinate with production and supply chain teams
- Coordinate with international locations to align inventory and supply decisions
- Collaborate closely with production, quality, engineering, and finance departments
- Support international team communication across the wider supply chain network
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed studies in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, material planning, or logistics
- Experience in a regulated environment such as medical technology or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally QAD
Essential Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; ideally also Power BI, SQL, or comparable analysis tools
