Position Overview
The Landscape Laborer helps with landscape installation and maintenance tasks to keep operations safe and efficient. You will dig by hand with a shovel, handle and install trees and shrubs, work with fertilizers and soil enrichment materials, move and spread soil and aggregates, install seed and sod, use hand tools including wheelbarrows, and load and unload materials. Because the work is physical and outdoors, the role requires stamina, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, comfort working in a range of weather conditions, and a steady focus on safety and wearing the right protective equipment.
Why This Role Matters: Every well-kept landscape starts with careful groundwork — soil that is properly prepared, plants installed at the right depth, sod laid evenly. As Landscape Laborer, you are the person doing that groundwork. Your effort and attention to safe working practices help crews finish jobs on time, keep properties looking their best, and keep everyone on the team safe in tough desert conditions.
