Position Overview
The Supervisor – Assets will be responsible for end-to-end management of operational assets across delivery operations and store locations, including procurement, inventory tracking, distribution, and lifecycle management of assets across last-mile operations. The role requires a highly execution-focused individual with a strong ownership mindset in a fast-paced environment.
Why This Role Matters: As Supervisor – Assets, you manage procurement of delivery and store-related assets, coordinating with vendors for timely, cost-effective sourcing, maintain accurate, real-time tracking of all assets across warehouses and store locations, oversee asset handling across warehouses and store-level operations, standardizing issuance, returns, and replacements, manage distribution of assets from central warehouses to stores and delivery associates across first-mile and last-mile logistics, monitor asset utilization, maintenance, and end-of-life processes, driving repair and replacement strategies, and develop scalable systems for asset tracking, leveraging data to optimize inventory levels and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Procurement & Planning
- Manage procurement of delivery and store-related assets in line with operational requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing
- Forecast asset requirements based on business demand and expansion plans
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate, real-time tracking of all assets across warehouses and store locations
- Implement and enforce inventory control processes and audit mechanisms
- Minimize losses, discrepancies, and idle inventory through proactive monitoring
Warehouse, Store & Distribution Operations
- Oversee asset handling across warehouses and store-level operations
- Manage the distribution of assets from central warehouses to stores and delivery associates
- Optimize logistics for efficient asset movement across first-mile and last-mile operations
Lifecycle Management & Process Strategy
- Monitor asset utilization, maintenance, and end-of-life processes
- Drive repair, refurbishment, and replacement strategies
- Develop scalable systems for asset tracking and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or warehouse operations
- Proven experience managing warehouse inventory and store-level assets
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes including procurement and distribution
- Experience managing first-mile and last-mile logistics is preferred
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with inventory management systems preferred
- Strong ownership and execution mindset
