Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Logistics Process Management

  • Take full ownership and responsibility for all logistics flows across CFP Brands’ operations — coordinating and managing all movements between external third-party logistics providers (3PL), customers, and further delivery and supply points across the FMCG supply chain
  • Ensure the right products arrive at the right place at exactly the right time — monitoring logistics performance daily, identifying deviations proactively, and implementing fast, effective solutions that protect customer service levels and business commitments
  • Manage inventory accuracy and stock management activities — ensuring precise knowledge of stock levels across all warehousing locations and taking full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of regular inventory counts and stocktaking
  • Oversee budget management, financial reporting, and KPI tracking for the logistics function — preparing clear performance reports for management and actively supporting annual rate negotiations with 3PL providers and logistics partners

Supply Chain Digitalization & EDI Optimization

  • Drive the establishment and continuous optimization of electronic data interchange (EDI) processes — working closely with customers and logistics partners to digitalize information flows, reduce manual interventions, and increase supply chain transparency and efficiency
  • Identify digital transformation opportunities within CFP Brands’ logistics operations — implementing process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives that make the supply chain faster, leaner, and more responsive to business needs
  • Develop and maintain digital supply chain interfaces with customers, 3PLs, and internal systems — ensuring seamless, accurate, and real-time data exchange that supports reliable operational decision-making across all logistics stakeholders
  • Stay current with developments in FMCG logistics technology, digitalization best practices, and supply chain management tools — bringing forward innovative ideas that position CFP Brands’ logistics function as a competitive, future-ready operation

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the central logistics interface and primary point of contact for all logistics topics — working closely with internal departments including Demand Management, Copacking, and Sales to ensure logistics requirements are clearly understood, well-communicated, and consistently met
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based working relationships with external customers and logistics partners — representing CFP Brands professionally in all logistics interactions and ensuring collaborative problem-solving when challenges arise

  • Communicate fluently in both German and English across all stakeholder interactions — ensuring clear, professional, and culturally appropriate communication with domestic and international logistics partners, customers, and internal teams

Process Optimisation, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Analyse existing logistics processes systematically — identifying optimisation potential, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across warehousing, transport, order management, and supplier coordination activities within the FMCG supply chain
  • Drive the implementation of process improvements and interface optimisations — advancing both operational efficiency and regulatory compliance including the evolving CO₂ emissions reporting and sustainability requirements relevant to German and European logistics operations
  • Manage the implementation of regulatory logistics requirements — ensuring CFP Brands’ logistics operations remain fully compliant with applicable German, EU, and customer-specific logistics, transport, and sustainability standards
  • Approach negotiations in a structured, confident, and solution-oriented manner — preparing and supporting annual rate and service negotiations with 3PL providers that deliver optimal commercial outcomes and service level agreements for CFP Brands
