Position Overview
This Logistics Supervisor role at Amazon Dubai covers daily operational leadership across both AMZL and Fulfilment Centre environments. You will manage teams of 30–40 Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and Associates, allocating labor, leading daily meetings, assigning duties, monitoring KPIs, implementing process improvements, and ensuring Amazon’s Health and Safety standards are maintained across all shifts — including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations within both AMZL and FC environments, managing teams of approximately 30–40 associates
- Allocate labor, lead daily meetings, assign job duties, and maintain exceptional organizational standards
- Ensure efficient workflows that meet customer expectations across both operational environments
Team Management & Development
- Lead, train, and develop high-performing teams of Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and Associates
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment, driving engagement and performance
- Ensure associate safety and adherence to Amazon’s Health and Safety standards at all times
Performance Management & KPI Monitoring
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) obsessively and dive deep to identify root causes of performance issues
- Implement effective solutions and drive continuous improvements across both AMZL and FC processes
- Communicate daily metrics and report exceptions to business and technical audiences
Process Improvement & Problem Solving
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational processes across both environments
- Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without compromising quality or functionality
- Drive Dive Deep analyses and implement process enhancements as a subject matter expert
Technology, Communication & Collaboration
- Continuously utilize software and hardware tools to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support the rollout and implementation of new systems and processes, gathering feedback and providing support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges and share best practices
- Manage external agency relationships and performance to maintain operational standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Experience leading teams and driving results through team members
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, or international environment
