Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for individuals — evaluating dietary habits, health status, nutritional needs, and lifestyle factors to develop personalized, evidence-based nutritional recommendations
- Develop detailed, individualized meal plans that align with each person’s specific nutritional requirements, health goals, cultural preferences, and any relevant medical or dietary restrictions
- Monitor and review individual dietary programs regularly — adjusting meal plans as needed based on health progress, changing nutritional needs, and feedback from individuals and healthcare colleagues
- Provide evidence-based nutritional guidance and dietary counseling — educating individuals on healthy eating principles, portion control, nutrient balance, and sustainable dietary behavior change
Healthy Eating Programs & Dietary Management
- Support and develop healthy eating initiatives across the Kizad facility — creating practical, culturally appropriate, and nutritionally balanced healthy eating programs that improve overall health and wellness
- Manage dietary requirements for individuals with specific nutritional needs — including those with chronic conditions, food allergies, intolerances, or special cultural and religious dietary requirements
- Develop and implement special dietary menu plans for individuals requiring therapeutic, allergen-free, or culturally adapted nutrition — applying specialist dietary management knowledge and practical menu planning skills
- Stay current with the latest evidence-based nutrition guidelines, UAE dietary recommendations, and international best practices in nutritional assessment and dietary management
Chef & Kitchen Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely and effectively with chefs and kitchen teams — translating nutritional requirements and meal plan specifications into practical, appealing, and nutritionally optimized food preparation and service
- Review and advise on menus from a nutritional perspective — providing chefs with clear, practical, and implementable recommendations that enhance the nutritional quality of meals without compromising taste or culinary appeal
- Support kitchen teams in understanding and correctly implementing special dietary requirements, allergen management protocols, and therapeutic nutrition specifications for individuals with specific needs
- Contribute to the development of new menu items and food service concepts that meet nutritional standards, satisfy diverse cultural preferences, and support the overall health and wellbeing program
Documentation, Reporting & Professional Development
- Maintain accurate and confidential nutritional assessment records, meal plan documentation, and dietary management files for all individuals under nutrition care — ensuring complete and audit-ready documentation
- Prepare regular nutrition program reports and performance summaries — communicating dietary program outcomes, individual progress data, and nutrition initiative effectiveness to relevant stakeholders
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address nutritional challenges — identifying evidence-based solutions to complex dietary management situations that arise within the professional nutrition practice

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a closely related health and nutrition discipline from a recognized institution
- Professional registration or certification in dietetics or nutrition (UAE or internationally recognized) is a valued professional advantage — Abu Dhabi Health Authority (HAAD/DoH) registration preferred where applicable
Experience Requirements
