ADNOC Drilling is hiring an Operator to assist Coiled Tubing operations at onshore oilfields and well sites across the UAE. The role supports all pipeline services field activities and equipment mobilization jobs, ensuring client objectives are delivered safely, without environmental damage, and in full compliance with HSE policies.
About the Role
Working closely with the Senior Operator, Coiled Tubing, this Operator Assistant performs pipeline services field operations in accordance with ADNOC Drilling and client procedures. Daily duties include equipment maintenance checks, basic coiled tubing equipment maintenance, fault reporting, and supporting internal training of ADNOC Drilling field personnel.

Key Responsibilities
Field Operations & Equipment Maintenance
- Associate with Senior Operator, Coiled Tubing and perform pipeline services field operations safely and effectively
- Ensure daily equipment maintenance checks on all Company stimulation equipment on site
- Carry out basic maintenance of coiled tubing equipment and report faults, damage, and repairs required
Training & Team Collaboration
- Assist with internal training of ADNOC Drilling field personnel
- Maintain close, respectful relationships with client site representatives and crew members
- Work as a team member on other services as directed, gaining maximum exposure and experience
Safety, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all activities are discussed in toolbox meetings, risk assessed, and understood by all crew members
- Ensure Coiled Tubing equipment maintenance routines are carried out and documented in a timely manner
- Comply with UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice
- Support HSE culture and compliance across the Division, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of Secondary (12 years) education in English, Mathematics, or a science subject, or High School education with a Diploma/Certificate in Coil Tubing training
- Further education certification in mechanical, chemical, or electrical/instrument disciplines
- Mechanical and maintenance experience in fault finding and repair of equipment
- Minimum 2 years practical mechanical exposure as an Operator Assistant
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for oilfield service work
- Computer awareness in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Simple written and spoken English
