Position Overview
As a QA Technician at Almarai’s Poultry Operations facility in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for coordinating all quality-related aspects of poultry production operations under the direct guidance of the SQAM/DQAM (Poultry). You will work as an active member of the plant’s quality team — assisting in the effective management of quality standards, systems, audits, process monitoring, and compliance activities across the poultry processing plant. This role requires both technical quality knowledge and practical experience in a meat or poultry processing environment, making it ideal for food science diploma holders who have built their initial quality career in meat processing and are ready to take the next step at one of the world’s most respected food brands.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Diploma degree in Food Sciences or a related discipline — a technical academic foundation in food science, food technology, food quality, or a directly related scientific discipline is the minimum educational requirement for this QA Technician role at Almarai.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant — direct, hands-on experience working in quality assurance or quality control within a meat or poultry processing manufacturing environment is essential.
- Experience in a Quality role within a Poultry Processing Plant specifically is strongly preferred — candidates with direct poultry processing quality experience will be particularly competitive in the selection process.
- Good working knowledge of Quality standards, systems, and audits — familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food safety management systems, and quality audit processes as applied in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
- Good operational knowledge of Meat Processing & Animal Health — understanding of poultry and meat processing operations, animal health considerations, and their relationship to product quality and food safety.
- Experience at supervisory level — some supervisory or team coordination experience is valued, reflecting the coordinating nature of this QA Technician role within the plant’s quality team.
