Position Overview
The Logistics Associate role supports C.H. Robinson’s newly established 4PL team in Dubai. You will ensure transportation arrangements are made for shipments by booking loads in the Transportation Management System (TMS), monitoring team mailboxes, resolving simple exceptions, scheduling delivery appointments, making customer-requested changes, manually building new loads, conducting systems training, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to CHR’s project-based delivery model.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Arrangement
- Provide timely and professional written and verbal responses to customer requests
- Book transportation loads in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Manually build and create new transportation loads within the TMS
Exception & Mailbox Management
- Monitor team mailboxes and respond promptly to incoming requests
- Resolve simple exceptions to any pre-defined processes
- Schedule delivery appointments with receivers
Customer & System Updates
- Make necessary changes as requested by the customer within the TMS
- Conduct systems training to external parties
- Follow standard operating procedures and update when gaps are identified
Reporting & Project Support
- Run, format, or distribute reports to internal or external parties
- Contribute to projects using the CHR project-based delivery model
- Perform other duties as assigned per team or country-specific requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
- Willingness to work a Sunday to Thursday workweek
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours
- Fluent in English; ability to speak Arabic (reading/writing not required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of information systems
- Friendly and articulate phone demeanor with strong communication skills
- Detail oriented, able to problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced environment
