 Key Responsibilities

QFS Policy Implementation & Compliance Monitoring

  • Put the QFS Policy into active daily implementation — assuming all responsibilities assigned within the QFS Management System for the Riyadh plant
  • Monitor adherence to food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and hygiene requirements across all production areas and shifts
  • Conduct behavioural safety observations as assigned by the plant QFS Manager — recognising and embracing positive safety behaviours and practices
  • Support the continuous building of QFS competencies among plant team members through active coaching, guidance, and identification of training gaps

Product Quality Inspection & Non-Conformance Management

  • Conduct thorough inspections of product quality against specifications as per the approved inspection sheets — preparing accurate, timely quality reports
  • Note any deviations from quality or food safety standards and immediately communicate findings to relevant stakeholders to ensure prompt corrective action
  • Manage the hold and release of non-conforming products in full compliance with PepsiCo’s Hold and Release procedure — protecting consumers and brand reputation
  • Verify and validate actions taken by production teams to ensure their effectiveness in delivering the required quality and food safety improvements

Equipment Calibration & Sanitation Verification

  • Ensure calibration of all QFS control equipment including metal detectors, primary and secondary weighers, checkweighers, seal checkers, and balances — maintaining complete calibration records
  • Conduct sanitation verification and Bio-Trace activities as per sanitation procedure requirements — ensuring the production environment meets hygiene standards consistently
  • Report any equipment calibration failures or sanitation deviations promptly and follow up with maintenance and production teams to ensure timely resolution

QFS Training Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the QFS training programme as assigned by the plant QFS Manager — contributing to training delivery, materials preparation, and competency gap identification across the plant team
  • Provide QFS advice, guidance, and coaching to plant team members — identifying and addressing common competency gaps through relevant training and on-the-job support
  • Support the QFS Management System’s development and continuous improvement through active, engaged participation as assigned by the plant QFS Manager
  • Contribute positively to PepsiCo’s pep+ sustainability and quality excellence commitments — embedding a quality-first culture across daily plant operations

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Minimum Diploma in Chemistry, Quality Control, Food Safety, or Natural Sciences — fresh graduates with this qualification are warmly encouraged to apply
  • Additional certifications in food safety, HACCP, or quality management systems are a professional advantage but not required for fresh graduates

  • Any prior experience in food manufacturing, quality control, or food safety laboratory environments is advantageous but not a requirement

Essential Skills

  • Excellent command of both Arabic and English — written and spoken — required for daily plant communication, report preparation, and training delivery
  • Literacy in computer usage — Microsoft Office proficiency for report writing, data entry, and quality documentation
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions during production shifts with a high degree of business awareness
