Position Overview

This Regulatory Reporting Manager role involves overseeing the accurate production and timely submission of reporting across capital, liquidity, and financial resilience pillars. You will improve best practices by optimising control and governance systems, review and challenge data inputs and outputs, explain regulatory concepts to key stakeholders, review new and changing reporting rules, and support the review and implementation of new products from a reporting requirements perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Reporting & Submission

  • Oversee accurate production and timely submission of reporting across capital, liquidity, and financial resilience pillars
  • Ensure reporting requirements are met within deadlines and to the highest standard of accuracy and completeness
  • Execute detailed quality checks and validation processes to ensure submitted reports meet internal and external standards

Governance & Data Review

  • Improve best practices by optimising control and governance systems, with clear documentation for regulatory submissions
  • Review and challenge data inputs and outputs, ensuring regulatory information is prepared and disclosed consistently

Stakeholder Communication & Rule Interpretation

  • Explain regulatory concepts and requirements, including capital calculations, ratios, and workings, to key stakeholders
  • Review and evaluate new and changing reporting rules

Product & Metric Impact Support

  • Support the review and implementation of new products, including reporting requirements and key metric impact
  • Assess implications for capital and liquidity ratios as new products and features are introduced

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a regulatory reporting manager in a bank or other regulated financial services entity
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for UAE financial institutions (CBUAE/DFSA/ADGM/SCA)

Essential Skills

  • Impressive analytical and numerical skills, with a proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory text
  • Self-starter and independent worker
  • Well-organised and capable of meeting tight regulatory deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data warehouses, SQL queries, and reporting solutions
  • A proven ability to successfully adapt to, identify, drive, and implement change
