Position Overview
This Server role involves delivering professional food and beverage service within the Clubhouse Restaurant at Al Zorah Golf & Yacht Club. You will manage an assigned section, present menus, take accurate orders, provide informed recommendations, coordinate with the kitchen and bar team, and ensure guests receive timely and thoughtful service from arrival through to payment and departure.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Section Management
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional and personalised service throughout dining
- Manage an assigned station or section confidently during service
- Present menus and explain food, beverage, promotional and daily special offerings
- Monitor tables throughout the meal and respond promptly to guest requests
Order Taking & Point-of-Sale
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system
- Provide informed recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary requirements
- Communicate allergies, dietary requirements and special requests to the Culinary team
- Prepare and present guest bills accurately and process payments per cashiering procedures
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and service team to ensure timely, correct order delivery
- Guide and coordinate with Assistant Servers supporting the assigned section
- Support private events, group bookings and Clubhouse activities when required
- Complete opening, closing and shift handover responsibilities
Outlet Standards & Compliance
- Ensure tables, service stations and surrounding areas remain clean and properly stocked
- Monitor stock levels within the service area and request replenishment when needed
- Handle operating equipment carefully and report breakages, defects or shortages
- Follow food hygiene, HACCP, fire, health and safety requirements at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server, Waiter or Waitress in a restaurant, clubhouse or hotel
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures
- Experience using point-of-sale and cashiering systems
Essential Skills
- Strong menu knowledge with confidence to provide recommendations
- Basic knowledge of food allergies, dietary requirements and food hygiene practices
- Clear verbal communication skills in English; additional languages an advantage
- Strong guest service, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain composed during busy service periods
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
