Position Overview
This Site Civil Engineer role in Dubai is a hands-on, site-based position responsible for managing day-to-day construction site activities, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, reviewing structural and architectural drawings, and ensuring all work is delivered according to approved specifications and project timelines. Key Responsibilities
Site Management & Execution
- Manage and supervise day-to-day construction site activities to ensure works proceed as per approved drawings
- Monitor site execution of structural works, finishing works, and all civil engineering activities

- Coordinate with site foremen, subcontractors, and labour teams for smooth daily site operations
Drawing Review & Technical Coordination
- Read, review, and interpret structural and architectural drawings with accuracy and technical confidence
- Coordinate with consultants, project managers, and design teams to resolve technical site queries
- Identify and flag drawing discrepancies and ensure timely resolution to avoid construction delays
- Prepare and update site documentation, RFIs, and technical submittals as required
BOQ, Quantity Take-Off & Project Planning
- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform accurate quantity take-offs for project scopes
- Use MS Excel and BOQ tools to track material quantities, costs, and project progress efficiently
- Support project planning using Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling and progress monitoring
- Contribute to project reporting, progress updates, and milestone tracking for management review
Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure all site works comply with UAE construction standards, approved specifications, and client requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks across structural and finishing work stages
- Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and daily progress logs throughout the project
- Support handover activities and ensure all punch list items are resolved prior to project completion
Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
