Position Overview
This Sommelier role at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach involves curating an extensive wine list while staying updated with new releases and trends. You will assist guests in selecting wines that complement their meals, maintain proper wine storage and cellar organization, conduct wine training sessions for staff, collaborate with the kitchen team on wine pairing suggestions, and ensure smooth wine service during busy periods.

Wine Curation & Guest Service
- Curate an extensive wine list, staying updated with new releases and trends
- Assist guests in selecting wines that complement their meals

Cellar Management & Training
- Maintain proper wine storage and cellar organization
- Conduct wine training sessions for staff to enhance their wine expertise
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create wine pairing suggestions
Compliance
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of wines
- Certifications such as sommelier training are a plus
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and staff
- Ability to recommend wines based on individual preferences and food pairings
- Knowledge of proper wine storage and cellar management
- Passion for staying updated with industry trends and expanding wine knowledge
