Position Overview
The Southeast Agronomic Manager (Atlanta) is a critical, field-facing role at Central Pro Supply, based in Ormond Beach, FL. As the region’s agronomic authority, you will provide deep technical expertise on fertilizers, soil amendments, seed, and integrated agronomic solutions to both internal sales teams and external customers — including turf professionals, landscape contractors, and agricultural operators across the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide deep technical guidance on fertilizers, soil amendments, seed, and integrated agronomic solutions to customers and internal teams
- Conduct thorough field diagnostics to identify turf, soil, and plant health challenges
- Develop tailored agronomic recommendations that optimize turf, landscape, and agricultural outcomes for clients
- Apply knowledge of soil science, plant health, and integrated pest management (IPM) in real-world field conditions
Customer Site Support & Product Demonstrations
- Visit customer sites regularly to evaluate agronomic performance and identify areas for product-driven improvement
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations that showcase value and drive adoption across the Southeast territory
- Offer on-site performance troubleshooting for landscape, turf, and agricultural professionals
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with contractors across the green industry
Sales Collaboration & Regional Business Growth
- Partner closely with sales teams to develop and implement effective agronomic programs that support revenue growth

- Prepare professional reports, training materials, and field evaluation summaries using Microsoft Office tools
- Translate complex agronomic science into practical, accessible knowledge for non-specialist audiences
Market Intelligence & Product Strategy
- Monitor regional agronomic trends and competitive dynamics across the Southeast green industry market
- Collect and systematically relay field feedback to leadership to refine product offerings and marketing strategies
- Work with senior leadership to adapt Southeast-specific agronomic programs based on field performance data

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Turfgrass Science, Horticulture, or a closely related field
- Equivalent experience in a comparable agronomic management role will be thoughtfully considered
Experience Requirements
- Proven agronomic and turf management expertise, including practical knowledge of fertilizers, soil science, and plant health
- Demonstrated experience supporting landscape, turf, or agricultural professionals with site evaluations and product recommendations
