Position Overview

This Supply Chain Lead role at Vention involves owning the overall Supply MRP process for EMEA, including daily and mid-term execution. You will review local supplier performance and conduct risk assessments with the Supply Chain Director, follow up on inbound logistics and customs tracking with carriers and the Montreal logistics team, maintain and improve Supply Chain KPIs such as OTD, inventory turns, and fill rate, own inventory health and material availability, and collaborate with Operations on order planning and scheduling.

 Key Responsibilities

MRP & Inventory Ownership

  • Own the overall Supply MRP process for EMEA, including daily and mid-term execution
  • Own inventory health and material availability across the region
  • Identify shortage risks, lead investigations, and drive concrete recommendations

Supplier & Logistics Management

  • Review local supplier performance and conduct risk assessments jointly with the Supply Chain Director
  • Follow up on inbound logistics and customs tracking with carriers and the Montreal logistics team
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation across the inbound supply network

KPI Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain, assess, and continuously improve Supply Chain KPIs including OTD, inventory turns, and fill rate
  • Translate performance gaps into actionable improvement plans
  • Ensure effective engagement and cooperation with internal clients and suppliers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Montreal team on NPIs, end-of-life parts management, and master data updates
  • Collaborate with the Operations team on orders planning and scheduling
  • Ensure on-time parts delivery and proactively flag risks to relevant teams

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Supply Chain / Business degree

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in global procurement or supply chain positions
  • Strong analytical and data skills; Excel/Google Sheets required, SQL or data analysis tools a strong plus

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute meaningfully
  • APICS or similar certification is an asset
  • Fluent English required; German is a plus
