Position Overview
This Team Member role involves performing pre-processing inspection and labeling of incoming linen, sorting and segregating linen by care label and soiling level, operating dry-cleaning and washing machinery, hand-finishing and pressing non-uniform garments, conducting final quality checks and documentation, folding, bagging and packaging items per client specifications, maintaining accurate daily records, and performing counter staff duties including payment handling at laundry outlets.

Key Responsibilities
Linen Inspection & Labeling
- Perform pre-processing inspection, accurate recording and systematic labeling of all incoming linen
- Generate and assign standardized labels using the Laundry Management System (LMS) for correct cleaning cycle and billing
- Sort and segregate linen based on care label requirements and soiling levels
Machine Operation & Finishing
- Operate dry-cleaning and washing machinery, including pre- and post-spotting
- Perform hand-finishing and specialized pressing/finishing on non-uniform garments (Executive, Guest, Retail)
- Conduct final quality checks, segregation and documentation for completed laundry
Packaging & Records
- Perform folding, bagging and meticulous packaging of cleaned items per client specifications
- Maintain accurate daily records of cleaning cycles, inspections and documentation of damaged/lost items
Hygiene, Safety & Customer Service
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety and industry regulatory standards
- Perform counter staff duties at laundry outlets, including payment handling and client interaction
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school or diploma in any relevant field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in laundry operations/machine operation, preferably within aviation or hospitality
Essential Skills
- Basic English communication
- Basic PC skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Comfort with exposure to warm temperatures and chemical odours
