Position Overview

As Technical Senior Coordinator at NAPCO / NFP in Dammam, you will operate in a large-scale manufacturing environment applying expert-level technical competencies across quality assurance, laboratory testing, calibration, food safety, environmental management, and occupational health and safety. You will collect and interpret raw data from multiple sources, generate technical reports to support decision-making, conduct destructive and visual testing on raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, perform and document internal calibrations, manage non-conformity identification and investigation, support HACCP effectiveness assessments, and contribute to EMS audit management. This role demands a professional who combines advanced analytical ability, strong technical laboratory skills, meticulous documentation discipline, and a proactive safety and compliance mindset.

 Key Technical Responsibilities

Laboratory Testing, Sampling & Visual Inspection

  • Carry out destructive off-line tests on raw materials, WIP, and finished goods — in full accordance with test method requirements, setting testing criteria and non-conformity limits aligned with customer, legal, and product performance requirements.
  • Conduct sampling of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in accordance with the Quality Plan and/or customer or testing standard requirements — ensuring all samples are correctly identified, recorded, and handled.
  • Conduct visual tests on containers and incoming materials — verifying cleanliness and hygienic condition, and performing in-line visual checks on WIP against defined quality criteria, with full documentation of all findings.
  • Participate in proficiency tests when qualified — contributing to NAPCO’s ongoing laboratory competency verification and external benchmarking activities.

Calibration & Technical Reporting

  • Conduct internal calibration of laboratory equipment per authorised Work Instructions — documenting all calibration activities accurately in the relevant hard or soft copy records to maintain full equipment traceability.
  • Generate draft lab test reports referencing customer requirements and ISO 17025 / testing standards — preparing technically accurate, clearly written documentation that supports compliance and customer confidence.
  • Monitor, collect, and interpret raw data from multiple sources — evaluating and analysing results at expert level, and creating reports that directly assist management decision-making across quality and operational functions.

Food Safety & HACCP

  • Assist the Food Safety Team Leader in traceability exercises — supporting end-to-end traceability verification across raw material, WIP, and finished goods in compliance with NAPCO’s food safety management system requirements.
  • Report any breach of the Food Safety Management System to the relevant management immediately — maintaining zero tolerance for food safety compliance failures and contributing to a culture of proactive food safety vigilance.
  • Contribute to setting and regularly evaluating HACCP plant effectiveness — supporting the food safety team in plan reviews, effectiveness assessments, and continuous improvement of the plant’s HACCP programme.

Environmental Management & OHS

  • Propose waste and pollution reduction initiatives for management review — actively contributing to NAPCO’s environmental sustainability agenda through practical, measurable improvement proposals.
  • Set action plans to manage external, internal, and legal EMS audits — ensuring proper audit closure and full compliance with environmental management system requirements and relevant Saudi and international regulations.
  • Apply local, regional, and international OHS policies and standards — investigating near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, participating in cross-audit programs, and conducting safety talk meetings and Toolbox Talks within scope.
