Position Overview
The Technical Warehouse Supervisor at Cargill Germany is responsible for ensuring that all required spare parts and maintenance equipment are available, correctly stored, and properly managed to maximize asset reliability across the plant. This role sits inside Cargill’s Build, Operate, Maintain (Plant Operations) division and plays a direct role in ensuring environmental, safety, quality, and food safety standards are met without exception.

Key Accountabilities
Warehouse Operations & Optimization
- Supervise, organize, and continuously optimize the technical warehouse and the storage of consumables and spare parts
- Perform and oversee goods receipt activities, ensuring accurate and timely system postings in SAP
- Plan and execute annual or ongoing inventory counts for the entire warehouse with full accuracy
- Maintain proper storage practices for all spare parts, consumables, and hazardous materials
Spare Parts Procurement & Maintenance Planning
- Initiate and track the procurement of spare parts according to maintenance plans to ensure all components are available on time
- Plan and coordinate inspections and assessments of repairable parts to ensure compliant reintegration into maintenance processes
- Maintain close communication with suppliers to safeguard quality throughout the process chain up to point of installation
Inventory Analysis & Cost Efficiency
- Analyze inventory levels — critical, non-critical, and surplus — to identify optimization opportunities and reduce excess stock
- Conduct technical inspections and quality checks of incoming goods according to Cargill specifications
- Ensure accurate inventory management using SAP and additional tools including label printers and barcode systems

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Certified education (Fachwirt) or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or logistics field
- Completed vocational training, ideally in a technical discipline, combined with several years of maintenance-related experience
Language Requirements
- Very good German language skills — both spoken and written — are mandatory for this role
- Basic English skills are required for international communications and documentation
