Position Overview
This Deputy Wound Care Nurse role centres on modern wound care. You will treat acute and chronic wounds, help plan and coordinate wound care with the lead wound nurse, carry out and monitor current wound care concepts, document wounds and healing progress, advise colleagues, patients and families, and uphold hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Wound Care
- Treat patients with acute and chronic wounds professionally
- Carry out and monitor modern wound care concepts
- Document wounds and regularly assess the healing process
Coordination & Advice
- Support the lead wound nurse in planning, organising and coordinating wound care
- Advise and instruct nursing staff, patients and relatives
- Deputise for the lead wound nurse when absent
Quality & Standards
- Follow current hygiene standards and nursing quality guidelines
- Help develop internal standards and care concepts
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification
- Completed training as a Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachmann, Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger/in or Altenpfleger/in
Further Training
- Wound expert training, for example according to ICW, or willingness to complete it
- Experience in wound care is desirable
