Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Receiving & Inspection
- Manage day-to-day vehicle receiving and inspection processes
- Ensure vehicles meet required quality and handling standards
Storage & Movement
- Oversee vehicle storage and movement within the yard
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance activities as needed
Inventory Control & Dispatch
- Maintain accurate inventory control across the vehicle yard
- Manage dispatch operations to ensure timely, accurate vehicle release
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work with 3PLs, transporters, PDI/QC teams and logistics operations
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Use WMS, DMS, ITMS, PDA or similar logistics systems for operational tracking
- Prepare reports using Excel and PowerPoint
- Recommend improvements in a fast-paced outdoor operational environment
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automotive yard operations, finished vehicle logistics, vehicle storage or a similar field in UAE
- Hands-on experience in vehicle inspection, storage, maintenance or yard operations in UAE
- Experience working with 3PLs, transporters, PDI/QC teams and logistics operations in UAE
Essential Skills
- Good understanding of automotive vehicle quality standards and handling requirements in UAE
- Knowledge of 12V and high-voltage vehicle battery maintenance highly preferred
- Experience with WMS, DMS, ITMS, PDA or similar logistics systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving and people coordination skills
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
- Excel and PowerPoint reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and recommend improvements in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Willingness to spend majority of working time on the ground within the vehicle yard
