Position Overview
This Logistics Officer role in Dubai requires managing export, import and cross-trade shipments from origin to final destination, coordinating closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and internal stakeholders. The role ensures compliance with international trade regulations and efficient supply chain operations across REDA Chemicals’ extensive distribution network in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Key Responsibilities
Export, Import & Cross-Trade Operations
- Manage export, import and cross-trade shipments from origin to final destination
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate booking arrangements with freight forwarders and carriers
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, review and verify shipping and export documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements and company policies
- Coordinate country-specific shipping, customs and trade documentation requirements across Middle Eastern and African markets
- Resolve operational issues related to documentation, shipping delays and customs clearance
ERP & Reporting
- Update and maintain shipment details and records within the ERP system
- Prepare periodic logistics reports and updates for management review
- Support sales and business teams by providing shipment status updates and logistics coordination
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Export, Import Operations and Cross Trade
- Good knowledge of export documentation requirements for Middle Eastern and African countries
- Experience in international freight forwarding and shipping documentation is preferred
- Expertise in ERP systems
Essential Skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and trade documentation
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building and teamwork skills
