Position Overview
This Farm Operations Intern role splits the week between two very different experiences. Monday through Wednesday, you’ll perform hands-on farm operations at the Greenbush Growing Coop in Plymouth, WI, including gathering eggs, harvesting vegetables and herbs, and processing farm orders. Thursday and Friday shift into Empathic Engineering growth work, including preparing presentations, traveling to business meetings across Wisconsin, documenting the internship experience for social media, and connecting with higher education institutions.

Key Responsibilities
Mon–Wed: Farm Operations
- Gather chicken eggs and feed chickens (optional)
- Harvest vegetables and herbs
- Process farm orders, including washing, trimming, and packaging
Thurs–Fri: Empathic Engineering Growth
- Prepare presentations on developing empathy for engineers and manufacturing leaders, with a focus on experience-based learning
- Travel to business meetings in Greater Milwaukee and across Wisconsin
- Document the internship experience and business development for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Connect with institutions of higher education to build and enhance partnerships
