Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Die Cutting Machine Operator based in Sharjah. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring die cutting machines to produce packaging and related materials according to production specifications and quality standards.
 Why This Role Matters: As Die Cutting Machine Operator, you prepare materials, adjust machine settings, and perform test runs before production, inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and defects to maintain quality standards, perform basic machine maintenance, clean work areas, and report technical issues promptly, follow safety and quality procedures throughout every shift, work closely with production team members to meet daily output targets, and maintain accurate production records, contributing to the efficient, quality-driven manufacturing operations of one of MENA’s largest FMCG companies.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation
- Set up, operate, and monitor die cutting machines to produce packaging and related materials
- Prepare materials, adjust machine settings, and perform test runs
Quality Inspection
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and defects
Maintenance & Safety
- Perform basic machine maintenance, clean work areas, and report technical issues
- Follow safety and quality procedures at all times
Production Collaboration & Records
- Work closely with production team members and meet output targets
- Maintain accurate production records
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training in mechanical, industrial, or technical fields is preferred
Experience Requirements
- Experience operating die cutting or similar packaging machinery, including setup, adjustment, and basic troubleshooting
- Knowledge of production procedures, quality control standards, and safe machine operation
Essential Skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, job orders, and specifications
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with routine machine maintenance and calibration
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production and maintenance teams
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced industrial setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in packaging, printing, or FMCG manufacturing
