Position Overview
This crop consultant job in Nebraska mixes agronomy with sales. You build relationships with growers, recommend the right products and fix problems when results fall short. It suits someone who is comfortable on the farm and equally comfortable talking numbers, margins and customer credit.

Key Responsibilities
- Find new prospects and grow sales with existing growers.
- Meet sales and profit margin goals.
- Make sure deliveries are on time, accurate and good quality.
- Grow sales of proprietary products.
- Advise growers on crop issues and resolve poor product results.
- Do an initial credit review and pass details to the Credit Manager.
- Collect outstanding accounts receivable.
Qualifications & Requirements
- University degree preferred. Without one, 5+ years in agriculture plus a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years using standard practices in agriculture, including applying agricultural chemicals.
- Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Sales experience preferred.
