Position Overview
This Business Development Director role suits a seasoned sales and strategy professional who knows contract logistics inside out. You will own the MEA LSHC growth plan, build a strong pipeline and work with country teams, operations and solution design to close deals that last.

 Key Responsibilities
- Build and deliver the MEA LSHC business development strategy for revenue, profit and market share growth
- Find and secure strategic Life Sciences & Healthcare opportunities across the region
- Grow the sector pipeline with key customers
- Lead complex RFIs, RFQs and RFPs with sector-specific supply chain solutions
- Run commercial negotiations using consultative, value-based selling
- Build relationships with customers, industry stakeholders and associations
- Partner with country business development, operations, solution design and other DHL divisions
- Share market insights and mentor the regional business development community
Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive business development experience in contract logistics
- Strong exposure to the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector and a record of winning complex business
- Solid knowledge of LSHC supply chains, customer needs and industry standards
- Commercial acumen, strategic thinking and influence across countries in a matrix organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar; an MBA is an advantage
- Fluent English; extra regional languages are a plus
