Position Overview
As Operations Supervisor, you guide your team, coordinate with airline staff on meal uplift and passenger numbers, and check that food and equipment reach the aircraft on schedule. You also review paperwork, follow safety procedures, and report issues to management quickly.

 Key Responsibilities
Team & Airline Coordination
- Supervise, train, motivate and guide assigned staff to meet agreed objectives
- Liaise with airline representatives on catering uplift, passenger numbers and flight-by-flight requests
- Prepare catering order forms and send them to the relevant sections
Ramp & Operations Control
- Make sure loading and offloading follow airline, company and airport security procedures
- Carry out spot-checks in operations and on the ramp so food and equipment meet airline standards on schedule
- Monitor daily resource allocation and escalate major variances to management
Safety, Quality & Records
- Check that all checklists and documents are completed and signed before they go to Accounts
- Investigate incidents, apply corrective actions and escalate to management
- Follow safe working practices and meet all regulatory standards, including EKFC policies
- Share briefings and shift handovers with all stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent (must have)
- Six Sigma, logistics or supply chain certification (preferred)
- 5 years in flight operations, food packing or logistics, ideally in airline catering or the food industry
- 2 years in a supervisory role (preferred)
- Good MS Office and ERP knowledge, with strong communication, reporting and time management skills
