Position Overview
The Warehouse Operator Specialist supervises and coordinates all warehouse floor operations. You will organize manpower and equipment to expedite orders by priority, plan warehouse space to fit business needs, supervise picking, packing, and put-away, assign bin locations so storage is quick to retrieve from, and recheck manual put-away and picking lists for correct quantities, dimensions, and products. You will also supervise outbound packing for compliance with country and customer specifications, handle documentation of damages and short or over shipments, run stock checks and cycle counts, and apply QHSE and security policies throughout the distribution centre.
Why This Role Matters: In a distribution centre, accuracy is the product. One wrong pick, a missing sticker, or an uncounted variance becomes a late delivery or an unhappy customer. This specialist keeps the floor organized, the stock honest, and the team safe, which is what lets the warehouse hit its service targets.
