Position Overview
The Restaurant Supervisor at IIQAF Group is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of daily restaurant and food & beverage operations in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for supervising service staff, maintaining outstanding food quality and cleanliness standards, handling guest concerns professionally, coordinating seamlessly between kitchen and management teams, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience. Key Responsibilities
Daily Restaurant Operations
- Supervise all daily restaurant and food & beverage operations from opening to closing
- Monitor food quality, service efficiency, and overall cleanliness standards across all areas
- Ensure consistent adherence to brand service standards during every shift
- Coordinate smoothly between kitchen teams and front-of-house service staff
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead and manage service staff including waiters, hosts, and support team members
- Train, schedule, and motivate restaurant team members to achieve peak performance
- Conduct briefings before each shift to align team on daily targets and guest priorities
- Identify performance gaps and provide on-the-floor coaching and guidance
Guest Experience & Customer Service
- Ensure high standards of customer service and genuine guest satisfaction at all times
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues swiftly, professionally, and diplomatically
- Anticipate guest needs and empower staff to go above and beyond expectations
- Collect and act on guest feedback to continuously improve service delivery
Inventory, Compliance & Administration
- Maintain inventory, supplies, and service equipment at required operational levels
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times
- Coordinate with management teams on daily reporting, scheduling, and supply needs
- Support implementation of operational policies and standard procedures across the team
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, F&B Supervisor, or Team Leader in hospitality
- Background in hotel, restaurant, resort, or any similar hospitality environment preferred
- UAE hospitality experience is a strong advantage and highly preferred by the employer
Essential Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate diverse staff
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities in a fast-paced setting
