 Position Overview

This Warehouse Manager role involves professional and disciplinary leadership of the warehouse area at NextPharma’s Waltrop pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will ensure stable and efficient warehouse operations with active management of priorities, resources, and escalations, take end-to-end responsibility for all warehouse and material flow processes including goods receipt, inventory, internal logistics, and shipping, guarantee timely supply to production and packaging, maintain GDP GMP and EHS compliance including hazardous materials management, ensure audit readiness, and initiate improvement and transformation projects advancing warehouse organization capabilities.

 Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide professional and disciplinary management of entire warehouse area and operations
  • Develop organization, team performance, and individual capabilities continuously

Warehouse Operations & Material Flow

  • Ensure stable and efficient warehouse operations with active management of priorities and resources
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for goods receipt, inventory, internal logistics, and shipping
  • Guarantee timely supply of production and packaging lines supporting site delivery capability
  • Manage escalations swiftly to prevent disruption to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations

Regulatory Compliance — GDP, GMP & EHS

  • Ensure full compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) requirements at all times
  • Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards within warehouse environment
  • Oversee EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements including hazardous materials management
  • Ensure ongoing audit readiness and manage deviations, CAPA, and change control processes

SAP MM/WM Systems & Digitalization

  • Ensure stable SAP MM/WM processes and maintain high data quality standards
  • Actively participate in digitalization initiatives modernizing warehouse operations
  • Leverage system capabilities to enhance visibility, accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Support integration of digital tools supporting continuous improvement goals

Improvement & Transformation Projects

  • Initiate and implement improvement and transformation projects for warehouse development
  • Apply analytical and solution-oriented approach identifying inefficiencies and implementing fixes
  • Drive continuous improvement culture across all warehouse functions and team members
  • Align warehouse transformation with broader NextPharma operational and digital strategies

 Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in a logistics or technical field (Mandatory requirement)
  • Further training or academic studies in logistics or supply chain management ideal
  • Continuous professional development in pharmaceutical or regulated logistics preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Several years of professional and management experience in warehouse logistics (Essential)
  • Experience in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare preferred
  • Proven track record in leading teams and developing warehouse organizations
  • Background managing SAP MM/WM in operational warehouse settings

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge

  • Sound understanding of warehouse and material flow processes across full logistics lifecycle
  • Confident handling of SAP MM/WM for warehouse and inventory management operations
  • Good knowledge of GDP and GMP requirements in pharmaceutical or healthcare logistics
  • EHS compliance experience ideally including hazardous substances handling and management
