 Position Overview

This Warehouse Associate role involves independently processing and managing incoming and outgoing goods for Coloplast global medical devices company. You will create and update delivery notes and inventory lists, transport goods using various industrial trucks including forklifts, perform loading and unloading operations, manage storage of deliveries and returns, conduct order picking and packing activities, contact internal logistics department for coordination, and handle clarification cases in order processing with focus on inventory management ensuring smooth healthcare product distribution.

 Key Responsibilities

Goods Processing & Documentation

  • Independent processing and management of incoming and outgoing goods operations
  • Create and update delivery notes and inventory lists with accuracy
  • Handle documentation for medical devices distribution meeting quality standards
  • Ensure proper record-keeping for healthcare product logistics operations

Material Handling & Transportation

  • Carry out transport of goods using various industrial trucks and equipment
  • Perform loading and unloading of trucks efficiently and safely
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment professionally
  • Ensure safe handling of medical devices and healthcare products

Storage Operations & Warehouse Management

  • Manage storage of goods deliveries and returns systematically
  • Prepare and follow-up storage areas maintaining organization standards
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization for European Distribution Centre
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas per quality requirements

Order Picking & Packing Operations

  • Conduct picking and packing of various medical device items accurately
  • Contact internal logistics department for coordination and planning needs
  • Ensure order accuracy meeting healthcare distribution quality standards
  • Process orders efficiently supporting timely delivery to 143+ countries

Advanced Logistics Coordination

  • Perform various PC-based tasks for order processing and inventory management
  • Contact internal logistics department and customer service coordination
  • Handle clarification cases in order processing focusing on inventory management
  • Provide operational control of order pickers and order control at central I-point

Quality & Compliance Assurance

  • Maintain strong quality awareness ensuring healthcare product standards
  • Ensure high reliability in all warehouse operations and processes
  • Follow safety protocols for medical devices handling and distribution
  • Support compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as “warehouse logistics specialist” (Fachlagerist/Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik) preferred
  • OR several years of professional experience in warehousing environment
  • Knowledge of order picking and order management operations desirable

Essential Requirements

  • Willingness to work in different shift patterns supporting 24/7 distribution operations
  • Strong teamwork skills and collaborative approach with international colleagues
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in dynamic work environment
  • Strong quality awareness and high reliability for healthcare products handling
  • Good German language skills (spoken and written) required for daily operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift license (Gabelstaplerführerschein) is significant advantage for material handling
  • English language skills beneficial for international distribution center environment
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control software
  • Previous experience in medical devices or healthcare products logistics
