Position Overview

The QC Supervisor (F&B) role at Light Fields Foodstuff Company is a hands-on quality leadership position based in Riyadh. You will safeguard food safety and quality standards through robust documentation, SOPs, and enforcement. With a strong central kitchen background and deep knowledge of ISO 22000 and HACCP, you will monitor processes, maintain compliance records, and drive corrective actions to protect product integrity across Numou’s growing operations in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Food Safety & Quality Enforcement

  • Safeguard food safety and quality standards through robust documentation, procedures, and daily enforcement
  • Develop, maintain, and update SOPs and quality procedures across central kitchen operations
  • Ensure full ISO 22000 and HACCP compliance at all stages of production
  • Identify non-conformances and drive timely corrective actions to resolution

Process Monitoring & Records Management

  • Monitor production processes to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready quality control records and documentation
  • Conduct regular quality audits across all kitchen and production areas
  • Track quality KPIs and report performance metrics to management

Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and manage QC team with strong supervision and accountability standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen, operations, and logistics teams to align on quality outcomes
  • Train production staff on food safety protocols, HACCP principles, and SOPs
  • Work with procurement teams to verify incoming ingredient quality and supplier compliance

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure operations comply with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality failures and implement preventive measures
  • Support preparation and execution of third-party and internal quality audits
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all quality-related activities

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Food and Beverage experience, specifically in a Central Kitchen environment
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience enforcing HACCP and food safety standards in high-volume production
  • Previous QC or quality assurance supervisory role in F&B sector strongly preferred

Technical Knowledge

  • Solid working knowledge of ISO 22000 standards and HACCP principles — non-negotiable
  • Familiarity with SFDA regulations and GCC food safety compliance requirements
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and quality documentation systems

Essential Skills

  • Strong management capabilities with ability to lead, train, and hold teams accountable
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
  • Comfortable with productivity tools including Asana, Slack, and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented in documentation and reporting
  • Must be currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (transferable residency or local hire preferred)

  • Annual leave as per Saudi Labor Law — 21 days rising to 30 days after 5 years of service
  • Sick leave per Article 117 — 30 days full pay, 60 days at 75%, followed by 30 days unpaid
