Position Overview
The Production Supervisor at Del Monte Kuwait is a frontline operational leadership role at the heart of the company’s Kuwait manufacturing activities. Key Responsibilities
Production Operations Oversight
- Oversee all daily production operations at Del Monte Kuwait’s manufacturing facility — ensuring production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and in full alignment with planned output targets and delivery schedules
- Monitor production performance metrics in real time, proactively identifying operational bottlenecks, equipment issues, or workflow inefficiencies and taking immediate corrective action to maintain production momentum
- Ensure every stage of the production process complies fully with Del Monte’s internal quality standards, food safety protocols, and applicable Kuwait manufacturing regulations and industry codes
Team Leadership & Workforce Development
- Lead, inspire, and manage the production team across all shifts — creating a positive, accountability-driven work culture where every team member understands their role and is motivated to perform at their best
- Provide hands-on coaching, targeted training, and regular performance feedback to production employees to continuously develop individual capability and raise overall team performance standards across the Kuwait facility
- Plan and coordinate workforce scheduling, shift deployment, and manpower allocation to ensure optimal production coverage and consistent operational output throughout every working period
Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance
- Enforce Del Monte’s quality assurance standards rigorously at every stage of the production process — ensuring that every product manufactured at the Kuwait facility upholds the global quality benchmarks that consumers trust the Del Monte brand to deliver
- Implement, monitor, and enforce all workplace health and safety protocols across the production floor — conducting regular safety audits, identifying hazards proactively, and taking swift corrective action to maintain a safe and compliant working environment
- Investigate quality deviations, production non-conformances, and safety incidents thoroughly — implementing effective root cause corrective and preventive actions to ensure issues are resolved permanently, not just temporarily
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all Del Monte Kuwait production operations — identifying and implementing practical efficiency improvements, waste reduction initiatives, and output quality enhancements on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and senior Management teams to align production activities with the broader operational goals and strategic business objectives of Del Monte Kuwait
- Prepare and present accurate, timely production reports, shift performance summaries, and operational updates to management to support data-driven decision-making and continuous operational improvement
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Proven, hands-on experience in a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Shift Leader, or equivalent operational management role within an FMCG, food manufacturing, beverages, or related industrial production environment
- A demonstrated track record of successfully managing production teams, meeting and exceeding output targets, and maintaining quality and safety compliance standards in a demanding, fast-paced manufacturing setting
Skills & Core Competencies
- Strong, hands-on leadership and people management skills — with the proven ability to motivate, develop, and hold accountable a diverse production workforce across multiple operational shifts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — ability to deliver clear operational instructions, set unambiguous performance expectations, and articulate safety requirements confidently to production team members and senior management
- Demonstrated ability to perform with consistency and decision-making clarity under pressure in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment — even during high-demand or high-stakes production periods
