Position Overview
The Finance Manager, Client Incentive Operations at Visa UAE serves as a key member of the Client Incentive Operations team, reporting directly to the Director. This senior finance role leads contract administration for complex incentive agreements with financial institutions, ensures compliance with US GAAP and SOX controls, partners with Finance Business Partners and Sales stakeholders, drives process improvement initiatives, and mentors junior team members. The role operates in a hybrid working model within a fast-paced, dynamic, and globally connected payments technology environment.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Incentive Management
- Review contractual obligations and commitments for complex incentive contracts and build accurate computations into the incentive computation system
- Prepare complex contractual payments in full accordance with the terms and conditions of each individual incentive contract
- Review contractual payments to confirm accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations before processing
- Act as both preparer and approver for incentive setup and adjustments within Visa’s systems and controls framework
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on complex deal structures and the financial and accounting implications of incentive arrangements
Accounting, Compliance & Financial Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with Visa’s accounting policy, US GAAP principles, and SOX internal controls across all assigned incentive contract activities
- Deliver timely and accurate accounting entries and financial reporting for all assigned incentive contracts and deliverables
- Champion the creation and maintenance of high standards of financial discipline and accountability within the UAE cluster and wider geography
- Own assigned performance metrics and drive efficiencies through automation, AI integration, and continuous improvement of financial business processes
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Effectively translate complex technical accounting treatment and financial analysis into clear, accessible language for non-finance stakeholders to ensure full understanding
- Partner closely with Finance Business Partners to provide comprehensive financial support to all stakeholders across the cluster
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance Business Partners, Client Contract Management, Legal, and other key stakeholders on contract structuring and deal support activities
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across all levels of management and with external clients and financial institution partners
Process Improvement, AI & Project Management
- Drive process improvements and streamlining projects and initiatives to continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of Client Incentive Operations
- Spearhead ad hoc projects to further improve the overall performance of the team and the quality of its processes and outputs
- Incorporate AI tools and automation into financial processes — actively identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy
- Participate in cross-functional global streamlining and alignment projects as part of Visa’s worldwide finance improvement agenda
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment within the Client Incentive Operations cluster
- Provide effective coaching and mentoring to more junior team members — sharing expertise and supporting their professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
Experience Requirements
- 8 years of relevant work experience — preferably with a multinational corporation (MNC) with regional operations in the UAE or wider MENA region
- Proven experience working with large volumes of financial data — with demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret, and report accurately
- Experience incorporating AI tools into financial processes — with a genuine interest in automation and digital innovation in finance
Essential Skills
- Strong proficiency in financial software for efficient and accurate financial analysis and reporting across complex incentive contract portfolios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — with diplomacy, a customer-service orientation, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
