Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial and accounting records for FESCO Supermarket’s daily retail operations in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
- Assist with bookkeeping activities and record all daily accounting transactions clearly and systematically in accordance with standard accounting procedures
- Ensure proper documentation, organisation, and secure filing of all financial information, invoices, receipts, and supporting records for audit readiness
- Enter financial data accurately into accounting systems and MS Office applications, maintaining consistent data integrity across all records and reports
Financial Reporting & Reconciliations
- Support the preparation of financial reports, account summaries, and reconciliation statements to help management make informed business decisions
- Assist in reconciling bank statements, supplier accounts, and internal financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies that need resolution
- Contribute to monthly and periodic financial closing activities, helping the finance team meet internal reporting deadlines consistently and accurately
- Provide reliable, well-organised financial data and supporting documentation to assist senior finance team members with analysis and reporting tasks
Invoice, Payment & Expense Management
- Monitor and track all incoming and outgoing invoices, supplier payments, and expense records to ensure timely processing and accurate financial accounting
- Verify invoice details against purchase orders and delivery records, flagging discrepancies to the finance team for prompt investigation and resolution
- Assist in processing payments accurately and on schedule, supporting positive supplier relationships and maintaining the supermarket’s financial obligations
- Maintain organised expense records and assist with expense reporting, ensuring all transactions are properly categorised and documented for financial control purposes
Finance Team Support & Administration
- Assist the finance team with a variety of administrative and accounting-related tasks to support the smooth, efficient daily operation of the finance function

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred for this Ras Al Khaimah accountant role
