Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Innovation Culture
- Lead and develop a team of IT consultants and developers — with professional development and talent growth as a genuine personal priority, not just a management obligation
- Stimulate innovation within the team through concrete measures — creating an environment where new ideas are encouraged, tested, and transformed into practical digital solutions
- Build a high-performing, collaborative team culture that combines technical excellence with a shared commitment to delivering value for REHAU’s international business operations
- Coach and mentor team members proactively — providing structured development paths and real opportunities for career advancement within the REHAU IT organisation
System Operations & SAP Landscape Ownership
- Ensure the stable, reliable operation of the internationally deployed system landscape — including SAP IBP (Demand Planning & S&OP), APO (PPDS), and ECC (MM, PM)
- Plan and manage the technical lifecycle of the system landscape — from technical upgrades and patches to the introduction of new digital solutions and platform migrations
- Oversee projects from initial scope definition through technical implementation, testing, user acceptance, and global rollout to stable productive operation
- Ensure service quality across all managed applications — maintaining SLA compliance, incident management standards, and continuous performance monitoring
IT Architecture Planning & Business Alignment
- Proactively plan the medium-term IT architecture for supply chain planning and maintenance applications — taking into account product lifecycles, business growth requirements, and technology evolution
- Coordinate closely with internal business customers to understand, analyse, and prioritise requirements — translating business needs into concrete, scalable IT solutions with your team
- Drive the international standardisation and unification of relevant end-to-end processes and technologies — reducing complexity and increasing efficiency across REHAU’s global operations
- Ensure transparent, proactive communication about roadmap progress and challenges — managing stakeholder expectations across technical and business audiences effectively

- Plan and manage budgets and resources for the supply chain planning and maintenance IT team — ensuring efficient allocation across operational and project activities
- Manage implementation, rollout, and optimisation projects collaboratively with internal team members and external partners — in both traditional and agile project management frameworks
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and escalations proactively, and report to senior IT leadership with clear, data-backed status updates and improvement recommendations
- Evaluate and select external partners, vendors, and consultants as needed — ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and contractual compliance across all external engagements
Qulifications & Requirements
Education
- Degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification — though practical experience matters more than the specific degree
- Relevant certifications in SAP, IT project management (PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe), or supply chain systems are a meaningful professional advantage
Technical Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of SAP/ERP systems with a clear focus on supply chain planning processes — SAP IBP (Demand Planning, S&OP), APO (PPDS), and ECC (MM, PM) experience strongly preferred
- Experience delivering software implementations in both traditional and agile IT project management environments — comfortable navigating both approaches
- Deep understanding of business processes along the supply chain — from demand planning and production scheduling through to maintenance and materials management
- Enthusiasm for digitalisation and modern IT architectures — confident discussing cloud platforms, integration layers, and IT landscape strategy with business and technical stakeholders
Leadership & Personal Competencies
- Initial experience leading teams or projects — motivated to take on broader leadership responsibility and develop people through structured coaching and development
- Strong communication skills — able to engage credibly with technical teams, business customers, and senior stakeholders in both German and English

- Change management skills and strategic, entrepreneurial thinking — comfortable driving transformation while managing the human and organisational complexity it creates
