Position Overview
As Supply Chain Specialist at Auterion in Munich, you will own end-to-end supply chain processes for Auterion products — spanning procurement, logistics, warehousing, scheduling, and order management. You will serve as the operational go-to person across internal teams, identify and eliminate supply chain inefficiencies, implement ERP and workflow improvements in NetSuite, manage freight forwarder and customs broker relationships, act as the first point of escalation for supply disruptions, and prepare accurate KPI reports that keep the global value chain running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning & Operations
- Run end-to-end planning, controlling, and optimisation of supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, and order management
- Oversee daily supply chain operations — ensuring purchase orders, shipments, and inventory movements are executed on time and in full
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies across the entire supply chain operation
- Maintain contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies for critical components and high-risk supply categories
Cross-Functional Coordination & Escalation Management
- Serve as the primary operational go-to person between purchasing, production planning, logistics, engineering, and sales teams
- Ensure information flows smoothly and handoffs between departments are seamless and on schedule at all times
- Act as the first point of escalation for supply disruptions, component shortages, and logistics failures — driving rapid resolution
- Actively support daily cross-functional operations and special projects requiring supply chain expertise and coordination
ERP Configuration & Process Improvement
- Identify, design, and implement improvements to supply chain processes and tools including NetSuite ERP configuration
- Drive reporting enhancements, workflow automation, and digital tool adoption across the supply chain function
- Document processes, develop clear standard operating procedures, and lead adoption across all relevant teams
- Proactively research and recommend new digital tools and frameworks that improve supply chain efficiency and visibility
Logistics Partner Management & KPI Reporting
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics partners across global shipment lanes
- Prepare and analyze accurate reports providing timely visibility on KPIs including delivery performance and inventory levels
- Monitor warehousing and inventory movements to ensure accurate stock data and prevent stock-out scenarios
- Coordinate customs documentation and compliance for all international inbound and outbound shipments
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in a supply chain role such as logistics, planning, procurement, or customer service
- Strong hands-on mentality — confident supporting operational tasks as needed alongside strategic responsibilities
- Experience with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience being particularly valuable and preferred for this role
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Solid Excel skills and quick ability to adopt and master new digital supply chain tools and reporting platforms
- Confident use of Google Workspace (G Suite) for daily communication, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required — German language skills are a welcome and valued addition
- Structured, proactive working style with strong communication skills and a collaborative team-player mindset
- High level of flexibility, motivation, and reliability in a fast-moving, mission-critical technology environment
- EU Citizenship is required for this position based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany
