 Position Overview
The Project Engineer role applies engineering skills to solve complex problems, using knowledge of Ecolab’s customers and markets. This role schedules and helps coordinate innovative, complex projects to meet cost and time objectives, complying with design criteria and standards, while working closely with vendors, business units, and operations teams to deliver projects at the highest quality.

 Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate with all business units for new and existing projects
- Manage all site projects within budget and timeline as agreed in the project proposal
- Work closely with appointed vendors to deliver projects at the highest quality
Equipment Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Repair and troubleshoot Ecolab’s standard equipment, including Next Gen 3D Trasar, Purate Generators, and Polymer dosing skids
- Provide budgetary costs for new projects and new standard equipment
- Support technical efforts to develop and integrate manufacturing processes for new and significantly revised products
Engineering Improvement & Feasibility
- Apply engineering skills and experience to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost by planning and executing engineering projects
- Support efforts to identify areas within operations where safety, quality, delivery, and cost may be improved
- Support feasibility studies and determine manpower and cost estimates
Compliance & Standards
- Work with others to ensure projects conform to local, regional, national, and corporate safety and environmental standards
- Comply with design criteria and standards across all project phases
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronics & Electrical Engineering
Experience Requirements
- 5-6 years of experience in district cooling, chemical, food, industrial processes, iron & steel, aluminium smelters, mining, or paper industries
