Position Overview
This Assistant Yard Supervisor role involves supporting the safe and efficient execution of yard activities at Boskalis’ yard in Ras Al Khaimah. You will support and coordinate day-to-day yard activities, assist in planning lifting operations, logistics activities, crane operations, and equipment movements, contribute to workshop coordination and maintenance-related tasks, promote a strong safety culture, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, operators, and workshop teams to support smooth execution of activities.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Yard Coordination
- Support and coordinate day-to-day yard activities to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Help maintain a well-organised yard environment across all zones
- Ensure activities are carried out in line with operational requirements and safety standards
- Support daily operational planning across the yard
Lifting & Logistics Operations
- Assist in planning lifting operations, logistics activities, and equipment movements
- Support crane operations within the yard alongside operators
- Contribute to efficient planning and execution of logistics processes
- Help ensure equipment readiness for operational and project needs
Workshop & Maintenance Support
- Contribute to workshop coordination, repair activities, and maintenance-related tasks
- Support operational readiness of equipment and materials used across projects
- Coordinate with workshop teams to prioritize repair and maintenance work
- Support the storage, maintenance, and mobilization of yard equipment
Safety Culture & Stakeholder Communication
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Ensure adherence to operational standards across all yard activities
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, operators, and workshop teams
- Support smooth execution of activities through clear, proactive communication
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- A strong safety mindset and experience with lifting operations
- Workshop experience is preferred
- Familiarity with logistics, crane operations, planning of activities and procedures, and equipment-related operations
Language & Technical Requirements
- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Experience with MS Office
- Knowledge of finance, maintenance, or other operational systems is an advantage
Essential Skills & Licensing
- A flexible, hands-on, and team-oriented approach
- Preferably a valid UAE light vehicle driving license
