- Review and cross-check all shipment documentation before dispatch to prevent errors, delays, or compliance failures
- Maintain organised, audit-ready export documentation records for all completed and ongoing shipments
Letter of Credit Documentation & Compliance
- Handle all Letter of Credit documentation requirements with precision — ensuring full compliance with LC terms and conditions
- Review LC terms carefully and coordinate with internal teams and banks to ensure all documentary requirements are fulfilled
- Prepare and present LC-compliant documents within the required timelines to avoid discrepancies and payment delays
- Liaise with banks and finance teams regarding LC amendments, discrepancies, and documentary credit processes as required
Shipment Coordination & Freight Management
- Coordinate all aspects of international shipment planning and execution with shipping lines and freight forwarders
- Book freight, confirm vessel schedules, and manage booking confirmations across sea, air, and land freight modes as needed
- Monitor all active shipments in transit and provide timely, accurate status updates to customers and internal management
- Identify and proactively resolve any shipment delays, documentation issues, or freight discrepancies before they escalate
Stakeholder Coordination & Customer Communication
- Coordinate closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers to ensure all logistics activities run smoothly
- Maintain professional, proactive communication with all logistics stakeholders to align on shipment schedules and documentation requirements
- Respond promptly to customer queries regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and documentation issues
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with freight partners, customs agents, and shipping line representatives in Sharjah and UAE
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in export documentation, logistics coordination, and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation
- Solid working knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and export procedures for UAE-based trading operations
