Position Overview
The Logistics Solution Specialist at JD.com in Oberhausen is a technically grounded, commercially aware role operating at the intersection of supply chain technology, customer solution delivery, and project management. Key Responsibilities
System Development & Market Standardisation
- Conduct market research to drive the standardisation, configuration, and productisation of supply chain business systems
- Shorten project onboarding cycles and ensure systems are continuously aligned with business needs and evolving market conditions
- Continuously improve overall system performance through structured analysis and evidence-based enhancement recommendations
Solution Design & Customer Delivery
- Develop system solutions tailored specifically for mid-tier customers, addressing their unique supply chain challenges
- Produce industry-specific documentation on system capabilities and coordinate product and engineering resources to drive solution delivery
- Meet customer needs effectively while strengthening JD.com’s service capabilities within the relevant European logistics market
UAT Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Oversee the development of UAT test cases and confirmation of test plans across all system implementation projects
- Organise and coordinate cross-functional teams to participate in structured testing activities
- Produce comprehensive UAT test reports and ensure system functionality fully meets quality standards before deployment
Project Management & Risk Control
- Take full ownership of complex logistics technology projects from initial planning through to successful delivery
- Identify and proactively manage potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and successful outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to keep projects on schedule, on scope, and within quality parameters
Documentation, Training & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain system implementation documentation including user guides, training materials, and best practice resources
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers to drive system adoption and confident, effective usage
- Implement continuous improvement processes to constantly enhance service quality and project implementation efficiency across the organisation
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field — supply chain, logistics, information systems, business, or a related discipline
Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in system solutions, business analysis, or supply chain system implementation
- Experience working with mid-tier customers or in a B2B solution delivery environment is a meaningful advantage
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficient in office software and system documentation tools with solid data analysis and management capabilities
- Ability to translate business requirements clearly into technical solutions that engineering and product teams can act on
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, coordinate cross-functional resources, and deliver results on schedule
- Experience with UAT processes and quality assurance methodologies is highly desirable
