Position Overview
This Onsite Recovery Machinist role at Everllence is built for a seasoned technician who can set up, adjust, and operate basic or specialized machine tools to perform precision machining operations. You will machine parts to specifications, align and secure holding fixtures and cutting tools, monitor feed and speed during machining, diagnose machine tool malfunctions, and support metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing — all while upholding Everllence’s strong safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
Precision Machining Operations
- Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools for precision machining operations
- Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines throughout the machining process
- Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display placement of cuts
Maintenance, Diagnosis & Repair
- Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
- Check work pieces to ensure they are properly lubricated or cooled
- Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine the need for adjustments or repairs
- Dismantle machines or equipment using hand or power tools to examine parts for defects
- Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools, and install repaired or new equipment
Metalworking & Project Support
- Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools
- Set up or operate metalworking, brazing, heat-treating, welding, or cutting equipment
- Support metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing
- Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes for improved efficiency or adaptability
- Separate scrap waste and related materials for reuse, recycling, or disposal
Safety & Compliance
- Familiarize with, understand, and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Apply legal regulations and objectives applicable to areas of responsibility
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and integrity in daily work
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Seasoned technician with at least 3 years of related experience, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing or machines
- Detailed understanding of the business at both technical and commercial levels
- Understanding of engineering products, equipment, customer base, and applicable processes
