Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Management Manager to lead emergency preparedness, crisis response, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will develop emergency management frameworks, coordinate incident response, oversee preparedness programs, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Emergency Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement emergency management strategies, crisis response frameworks, and business continuity programs
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, evacuation planning, and continuity of operations planning
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with HSE, Security, Facilities Management, Operations, IT, Legal, and Executive Leadership
- Establish incident command structures, communication protocols, and escalation processes
Drills, Training & Performance Monitoring
- Coordinate emergency drills, simulation exercises, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews
- Monitor KPIs including emergency response times, drill performance, and business continuity readiness
Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Conduct business impact analyses (BIA), vulnerability assessments, and lessons-learned reviews
- Ensure compliance with emergency management regulations and standards such as ISO 22301
- Manage relationships with government agencies, civil defense authorities, and regulatory bodies
Technology, Reporting & Team Leadership
- Drive digital transformation through EMIS, GIS, AI-powered risk analytics, and workflow automation
- Prepare emergency preparedness reports, executive dashboards, and after-action reports
- Lead, mentor, and develop emergency response coordinators and business continuity specialists
 Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management, or a related field
- Master’s degree or certifications such as CEM, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, BCI certifications, or NEBOSH are highly advantageous
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in emergency management, crisis management, business continuity, or disaster recovery
- At least 2 years of experience managing emergency preparedness programs or crisis response teams preferred
- Strong understanding of emergency planning, incident command systems (ICS), and regulatory compliance
Essential Skills
- Experience with EMIS, incident management software, ERP systems, GIS platforms, and Power BI
- Familiarity with AI-powered risk analytics and digital crisis management solutions is advantageous
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in remote/hybrid environments with flexibility for after-hours incident response
